Hi,
When I copy a region into another track, occasionally that child region will not play back. The sound waves appear on the child region but does not register a sound in the level meter. Is there a way to fix this?
I am using Logic pro x on a macbook air.

Obvious question; do you have an instrument loaded into the new track?
Is the output of the track routed to the correct bus or track?
It is routed to the to the correct track. It's a guitar track in which the performance in an earlier region(in the same track) plays. For whatever reason a later copied region will not play.
Hmm, what happens if you add a tuner to the track. Does it register any notes?
And what if you use one of the sends to send the signal to a different bus, do you get any sound from that bus?
The region in question does not register with the tuner, I imagine because there is no signal coming from it. I would have to experiment with changing the bus on it.
