iPhone 6S Plus Call Screen Freeze

My iPhone 6S Plus screen seems to freeze sometimes when there is an incoming call. The phone just won't let me slide the button to pick the call. I have tried resetting the phone but that didn't help. Any idea how to fix this issue?

My phone is running on the latest iOS 9.2.1
