World Of Warcraft and Mac book pro 2012

Hello, I have a mac book pro 2012, and I was wondering if playing World of Warcraft will overheat it and end up damaging the laptop to the point where it would lower the life expectancy. Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated, and also would anyone know what the average life expectancy is for a mac book pro 2012 ?

Thank you.

The MacBook Pro uses measured internal temperatures to control the Internal fan speeds. If working properly, increased temperatures should make the fans run faster and result in better cooling.

When you are anticipating stuff that will heat up your Mac, you can use third-party Utilities to manually put a higher floor under the minimum fan speeds and thereby improve cooling, at a cost of slightly more fan noise at idle.
