Pages 5.6.1 crashing

Running 10.11.3. I recently (2 weeks ago) wiped my hard drive and reinstalled everything. I used Pages for the first time yesterday after the reinstall. It crashed half way thru editing a document. Just disappeared! I was able to re-open and finish my edits.

Today I can't re-open that document. I can't even open Pages. It crashes right after I open it.

Any suggestions? TIA!
