Q: Connect to printer on another network?

So my school has 2 networks "guest" and the district network all school computers are on. My issue is my personal MacBook running OS X 10.8 is on the guest network and all the printers i need to use around school are on the district network. Right now i have to carry a USB cable around to connect to different printers. Any solutions to connect through the network?

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

This is really a software question, do you want it moved to the Mountain Lion forum?  I can imagine there being some sort of utility (probably commercial) which may enable this. The question then is if the school will allow it since most of them are security nuts and they wouldn't want their printers open to somebody across the world.

You would need to be given access to the district network. Did you ask the it department.
