I have a Comcast Xfinity email account. Due to a problem with email, after Comcast fixed the problem, I found that folders I had added to permanently save emails are gone! My question is, can I restore Comcast email folders from a Time Machine backup?

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library/Mail. Enter TimeMachine to see if you can find the e-mails.

Eric, thanks much for your reply. I did what you instructed me to do but, unfortunately, the missing folders were not there. But for what it's worth, your answer showed me how to navigate TM to get to the mail folder if I need to in future. Thanks very much.
