iPhone is randomly deleting certain contacts

HELP!!!!

I have an iPhone 6 iOS 9.2.1.

It is randomly deleting contacts. Typically my business contacts with notes about them that help my tiny business stay afloat.

When I send a text or an email to someone, suddenly the number or email is still in the thread, but the contact name and info is gone.

Please help with any advice you may have on how to stop this from occurring!

The contacts also get deleted from iCloud, desktop, iPad.

I can't afford to lose anymore 😟
