I have the latest Apple TV with the latest iOS. I came home to a "Not compatible with this signal" message on my TV screen. Was there an update that my Apple TV installed while I was at work that may have caused this?
I tried powering down the Apple TV and even connect the HDMI cable to another port at the back of the TV. But no joy.
