When using safari images wont work and a redirection issue is also happening

i own an iphone 6 and when im using safari images are replaced by indecent ones or weird cartoon types. Its not an ad askin me to click anything, its just that theres some image in place of the actual one and only when i refresh the page does the original image come up. theres also a redirection issue that has started. No How can this be fixed? This happens with other apps that have images too like instagram. Is this a virus?
