Delays syncing Contacts on Mac to iPhone contacts

Hi

When I update my iPhone Contacts the changes are reflected on my iMac Contacts almost immediately. This is GOOD.

When I update my iMac Contacts the changes can takes days or not update at all on my iPhone Contacts. This is NOT good.

However, my iCloud Contacts are updated. This is GOOD

Any thoughts on what is happening here?

Try Settings/iCloud and slide off syncing. Wait a few minutes and then resync.

Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
