Thunderbolt Ethernet Adapter: Cable Unplugged

MacBookPro10,1

Running on El Capitan (OS X 10.11.3). System Profiler recognizes the "Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" when plugged in, but looking at the Network Settings > Thunderbolt Ethernet I get status: Cable Unplugged. IPv4 is set to: Using DHCP. I've tried setting up manually with no luck. The Ethernet line's connection is fine. It connects with no problem to the iMac running OS X Mavericks.

Things I've tried:

  • Releasing my DHCP Lease
  • Setting up Ethernet Manually.
  • Deleting Network plists
  • Resetting PRAM & SMC

Things that have worked:

Nothing

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

MacBook Pro (15-inch 2.4/2.2 GHz), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)
