VPN Connection Through Airport Express

Hello. Looking to connect to my office through VPN. I am able to do so using my iPhone as a hot spot. But when at home I'd prefer to use the VPN through my Airport Express and Xfinity Internet service. So far I've been unable to get this latter connection to work.

Hopeful that someone in the Apple Community could provide direction on how to make this happen.

Thank you,

VPN is being used on what type of computer, Mac or PC?

What VPN as there are several standards. eg IPSEC, PPTP, OpenVPN, SSL, L2TP, and lots of variations on those.

Another thing that is important.. is the Xfinitiy the main router??

If so the Express should be bridged and have nothing to do with it.

So I need to know if you are routing on the Express?

Many routers have a NAT helper for VPN service.. a box you tick for VPN passthrough.. have you checked if your Xfinitiy modem router needs a box ticked??
