My daughters ipad mini is disabled and I have connected it to itunes, and followed the restore steps but it doesnt bring up the options to restore. It has never been hooked up to a computer, so I dont know what to do to get it working again. Help!

My daughter reset her password on her Ipad mini and forgot it. Needless to say it is now disabled and I have followed all the steps to restore it, but it never brings up the screen to push reset or update. It just stays on the screen that says connect to iTunes. It has never been plugged into a computer if that makes a difference. Any help would be great! She is 5 and doesn't understand why her ipad doesn't work and her sisters' do. Thanks!!
