I bought a $15 iTunes Card & tried to open an iTunes account but couldn't because I have no credit card

Can I give a gift to someone who doesn't have a credit card?
Yes. The recipient will need to install iTunes, then click the Redeem button in the gift email before they create an iTunes account. Using this sequence of steps, the recipient will be able to redeem their gift without entering a credit card.
You can also use a checking/Debit card if you don't have a CC. I do have a CC but use my ATM/Debit/Check card.

You're a brave sole using a check card over the net. I know the bank probably covers it if the number gets stolen, but I feel safer not using a card on the internet that links directly to my checking account.

I have 2 linked accounts and keep a small balance and top up as necessary. These are secondary accounts and have no link to my main account in another state.
