Q: How can I make it resume the song I was playing after I've closed and reopened the app? If I just hit play it starts with the first song from my library.

I just want to be able to open the app, hit play and have the last song I was listening to start back up. Instead when I hit play it starts with the first song from my library. Can I change this setting?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1

    Hi Glau820,

If you use the app switching feature of your iPhone, there is no reason to close the Music app.  As long as the app is not closed, when you return to it, you will be taken to the last song you were playing.  Here is some more information:

You can quickly switch from one app to another on your iOS device. When you switch back, you can pick up right where you left off. Follow these steps:

    1. Double-click the Home button to see recently used apps.
    2. Swipe left or right to find the app you want to use.
    3. Tap the app.

    Take care,

Thanks, but that didn't answer my question. I don't leave any running non-stop bc I don't want to eat up my data. I just want it to remember what was playing when I reopen or to at least have a list of all things I've recently played. These are the main features that Spotify does better.
