Q: how do I remove my own master login?
New to Apple products. Just Bought MacBook Air and somehow while creating users I have created a master login to turn on the Macbook Air. After entering the password for that, then a login for my account and other users to access shows up. How do I remove this so that only one login password is required by whichever user to access and use?
I have tried to access and change through user preferences / users / apple ID or iTunes. No luck
MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

It sounds like you may have enabled Filevault…
Use FileVault to encrypt the startup disk on your Mac - Apple Support
Or possibly a Firmware password…
Use a firmware password on your Mac - Apple Support
Do either of those articles fit what you see? You can undo these features if you don't need them, but it would help to work out which ones are active
If they don't fit, let us know what you see on boot (maybe a photo of the screen if you can).
