how do i submit a podcast when it won't allow the image even though it's within the specs

My rss feed is as follows: http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:197182277/sounds.rss

I've reformatted the profile image several times, and is now at 2400x1500 pixels, 241kb in size, in jpg format, and rgb color space.

I cannot get itunes to accept the feed. It keeps coming up with the cover art error. My podcast is hosted on soundcloud, which assures its users it allows http head requests, and that it's in full compliance with itunes. Yet... no go.

Any ideas?

The URL in your 'itunes:image' tag is http://i1.sndcdn.com/avatars-000196977034-f72wjz-original.jpg

This image is 1,000 x 1,000 px and so is smaller than the minimum requirements of 1400 x 1400px. If you are sure you submitted a larger image to Soundcloud it may be reducing the image size - I don't know whether Soundcloud does this but it has been known with some podcast creation services. If this is happening you would need to take it up with Soundcloud.
