Macbook Air, sometimes can't see mail body text, just headers

More and more frequently when I open an email I can only see the header, there is not body.

I restart the computer and mail works fine and I can see the body text, i.e. the content of the email.

After a certain time, and it seems like each time mail lasts less time before "breaking", I can't see the mail content again..... so I restart again and all is fine.

Do this:

on the right side there is a small round dark grey circle in the middle of the bottom line: drag that circle all the way up to the top and then back to about halfway.

Leave it there. It should display the email that you select in the top half of the the list.

Quit Mail from the menu and then start again and see how it behaves now.
