My boyfriend brought me The Sims 2 game mac various for Valetine's day, but it keeping on saying that I need to download Power PC on my computer.

I don't want to buy it.

Have you got any ideals?

Hi, "PowerPC" is the name of old processors that were in Mac, before Apple transitioned to using Intel processors in 2006. Therefore, your boyfriend bought you a version of the game that doesn't work on modern Macs, as mentioned in this post : http://support.aspyr.com/hc/en-us/articles/203396094--PowerPC-application-no-lon ger-supported-error

Alternatively, since the Sims 2 has been rewritten to work for intel processors, I suggest you get a refund for the game you bought and buy it on the App Store : https://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/the-sims-2-super-collection/id883782620?mt=12
