Does anyone know if itv player, 4 on demand and 5 on demand will be coming to apple tv? Samsung have them all and im wondering why apple tv doesnt? Same with Facebook app

3rd party apps are developed by 3rd parties, you would be much better asking the individual developers if they intend developing apps for the Apple TV. Most users here are unlikely to know.

It's up to the channels themselves to provide the app, which has to be specially written for the ATV.

In the examples you cited, they would be iTV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

Perhaps it's a matter of their getting round to writing the apps - remember they are not the same as the apps for Android or iOS. The apps are available on the Amazon Fire TV so it seems quite possible they will eventually turn up on the ATV.

the app developers from the media provider companys would have had more time to develop the apps and have them approved
