Can you use Flip4Mac to import WMVs into Final Cut X?

I think Flip4Mac will help Compressor import, but what about Final Cut X?

If I import a WMV into Compressor it will only do either video OR audio stream. It won't do both, is that correct?

thanks...

As you note, Flip4Mac can work as a plug-in with Compressor's QuickTime Component setting to allow you transcode WMV files to a codec that FCP can read.

But it will output a mixed file with audio and video.

It does not function as a plug-in with FCP's import process.

You can use the plug-in to export as WMV via Compressor, as outlinedhere.
