Q: Kernel panic upgrading from 10.8.5 to El Capitan

Hello, I’ve been trying to update my wife’s Mac Pro from Mountain Lion 10.8.5 up to El Capitan. The upgrade process seems to go fine but on re-start I get a freeze and a sting of panic code on screen. I have absolutely no idea what this means so I’m hoping someone out there might be able to understand it.

Mac Pro

Early 2009

2.66 Quad Core

13GB RAM

I know it’s quite an early model, but it’s on the list as being upgradable.

Apologies for any mistakes in the code. All I could do was shoot it with my phone for reference and type it out from there:

She's now reverted to 10.8.5 from a Carbon Copy Cloner back up.
