Link key removed from the heart monitor device, but iPhone still thinks it has Link key

Hi,

I am having problem when connecting to the heart monitor over bluetooth, if heart monitor device have for some reason removed the link key, now the iPhone app thinks that it has the link key and tries to connect and fail. If we go into settings an unpair the device we get to pair the device again and it works.

Is it possible to know in the app that link is corrupted or any other notification so that i can ask the user to unpair/pair again?

Any help is appreciated.
