over sensitive touch pad

MacBookAir, OS X El Capitan, 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7 , 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB


I have an over sensitive touch pad, what to do ? The cursor jumps within seconds to another row, or even to another page, another programme. What to do?
