Old Bluetooth Trackpad is only recognised as a mouse!

Hi guys –

I have an old Apple Trackpad (Model: A1339), which used to work perfectly.

After upgrading my MacBook Pro (15" June 2013) to El Capitan, the trackpad is ONLY recognised as a mouse: no tap (despite the fact that the option is enabled), no drag-n-drop, no scrolling... What has changed, I have no idea. I tried to unpair and pair it back again, but this has not resolved the issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
