I can no longer record my screen with QuickTime!? Do i have to pay for the QuickTime PRO in order to be able to still do that?

I haven't performed a screen recording for nearly a year - but when i went in to do that through QuickTime 7.7 - it doesn't have that as an option any longer. It prompts me to purchase QuickTime Pro.....is it not something that is FREE with QuickTime any longer??! I have all Apple Products that I'm working with.

Screen recording was never an option with either the free or paid versions of QuickTime 7. QuickTime X includes it.
