MY Apple ID Password works fine on both my iPhone and iPad but not on my iMac!
Also, my email passwords are not being recognised either, much like above.
i'm running OS X EL Capitan.
Any ideas?

Is this something that just started happening? More information would be helpful.
The following thoughts will be self apparent but you don't indicate your level of expertise.
Passwords are case sensitive - Is the caps lock key on?
Is you keyboard in the proper nationality/language mode?
Are you running any sort of software that perhaps re-maps your keyboard?
