General search for available iTunes versions - http://support.apple.com/downloads/#itunes
Note: Running an old version will not let you sync with an iOS9 device. The only way to do that is run a newer OS version.
This links to iTunes11.4 which was recommended by someone else back in 2015 as the fix.
When I click on download version I get an error message that the disk can't be opened: iTunes11.4.dmg not recognized.
I don't know. The 11.4 link works for me.
If you go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download, I believe that site will find the most recent version of iTunes your current OS X version can use.
Unless they have changed things recently that site has always provided the most recent iTunes version that exists. Whenever I checked it using my G4 Tiger it linked me to iTunes 12.3
Ah, I did not know that. I am not aware of any recent changes. I based my response on posts I had read. I must have misunderstood picking up the latest correct version. I know the site senses whether a Windows or Mac computer is visiting.
Thanks for the correction.
Thanks I DID finally get this to work. Thanks again.
That's great news.
Enjoy your Apple gear.
