If you mean that you have an app that runs on your iPad and you want to copy that app to your MacBook Air and then run it there, be aware that will not work. However, many apps have 2 versions, one for the iPad/iPhone and one for the Mac. You need to download them separately and depending on the app you may need to pay for each. Most apps for the Mac are downloaded via Apple menu > App Store.
