Hello everyone.
I had my battery drop 30% after a 4 hours call. Is this normal?
The phone is running a fresh installation of iOS 9.2.1, without any apps installed and was connected to WIFI.
(i got skype and scanbot after that call)
iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.2.1
Yes, I'd say that's not unexpected after a 4 hour long call. The wifi and cell phone radios are heavy power use items when in steady use like that.

This was in fact a test that i did because i had a hunch that my battery wasn't that good. Is it relevant to compare this result to the 24h Apple claims the phone should last? I've followed their testing procedure as closely as possible.

That is not what I see in the iPhone 6S+ tech spec:
iPhone 6s Plus- Technical Specifications
As I read this, it says:
"Talk time: Up to 24 hours on 3G"
30% down in 4h means that it should go to 0% in about 14h. That's quite a difference from those 24h. And yes, the call was made on 3G.

That assumes a linear relationship between battery decay and use, which may or may not be correct.
You are right, the battery usage varies and it's not quite linear. But still...the only reason i did this test was because I've noticed the percentage drop faster than my old 6S+, which had a bad screen, when using the phone regularly. However, the guys at the Service Centre performed some diagnostics on the device and the battery seemed fine.
It also assume that the battery level indicator is accurate. It isn't.
