App store keeps asking cvv code

I have recently added a credit card to my apple id as a replacement for click and buy. I have also enabled family sharing right away. Everything went fine and I was happy. Today I wanted to purchase an app on my apple tv and it asked me for the CVV code for my credit card. I entered it, and it asked for it again. So I entered it again and then it asked again. I got stuck in a loop. When I went back to the app store screen it told me to verify my information in itunes. So I went in to itunes, looked at my info and it was fine. But the infinte CVV loop kept occurring.

After that I:
- Logged out of iCloud and back in.

- Rebooted my apple tv

- Restored my apple tv

- Signed out again

- Signed in again

- Rebooted again

All with no luck..

Does anybody have alternative suggestions?..

btw, purchasing stuff on other devices still works fine.
