Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried restarting, resetting, and restoring. None of those worked 😟 If I have to replace the screen is it easy to do myself, or cheaper and easier to send it somewhere?

You should definitely not do this yourself, nor "send it somewhere" random ...
Doing so will void your warranty and end your ability to get any further help from Apple or these forums for this device.
You should take it to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center for an assessment and advice how to proceed.
Well to be fair... you CAN do it yourself, and you CAN have an independent repairer do it for you. All carrying the consequences that sberman mentioned.
But honestly, being this new, your best option by a long shot is to go through Apple. It will be heaps cheaper and you will keep your warranty.
Since you have a 6s Plus, I agree with the others, your best option is to get the screen replaced at Apple. The parts cost alone for these screens is still upwards of $200.
