Lightening cable problem

MY iPhone 6S Plus will not charge I plug the cable that came with phone in and I get the message this accessory is not certified, it worked fine last night and the cable works fine for my iPad Air, both the cable that came with iPad and iPhone work fine with iPad but iPhone gives me the message. Is there a setting that got messed up?
