Q: Podcast not updating after Nov 30 in Podcast App, iOS 9.2.1, iPhone 6s

A podcast I subscribe to stopped refreshing in my subscribed feed. However, all the episodes still show up when I go directly to the podcast (via the search and NOT when under my subscriptions). I have unsubscribed, turned off my phone, and then resubscribed with the same results...only those podcasts prior to November 30th show up and it will not refresh the feed past that date, yet listed on their podcast iTunes page are about 8-10 more podcasts that were posted in Dec and Jan. (Not to mention if I don't go to their podcast via my subscribed feed, but via search I can access all their podcasts in the Podcast App).

Here is what is happening on my iPhone in the Podcast app. Here are 2 screenshots. I know I'm not the only one experiencing this issue as my client's numbers dropped dramatically in December (and feeds stopped updating for subscribers (at least in the podcast app on iphones) as of Nov 30th). I just took these photos last week.

Can anyone direct me as to what's wrong? (I also work for the owners of the podcast, but seeing as the list shows up in iTunes it seems the disconnect is between going out to the podcast feed and showing up on the subscribers list.)
