Hi, I have a Mac Mini running El Capitan and I want to re-schedule time machine so that it is not backing up every hour. Maybe backup every 12 hours or a specified number of hours between backup start times. I have contacted support but they don,t have an answer.
I searched and found a software program called Time Machine Editor, it looks ok and wonder if anyone out there has tried it.

Note that sometimes macupdate downloads include adware
If you create a user and login it seems you do not get the adware
