I would suggest that you reset your SMC if you feel that the issue persists:

Feb 12, 2016 11:05 PM in response to braden85by brianfromlowestoft,Thanks for the suggestion but it has made no difference. Is is possible the graphics card is breaking up and is it possible to get it replaced?
I have tried everything I know even vacuumed out the inside but there was little in the way of dust really.
