Help to start the iMac trough iBook Pro

PLease help me!

MY iMac doesn't start or exectly the screen doesn't shows the Apple Emble.

Therfore the iMac doesn't work.

My suggestions are this iMac has more then just one probleM.

I think my keeboard is also broke.

What can I do?

1. Is it possibel to connect the iMac with my iBook Pro (booth hardware have the same OS version) by means of lane kabel?

2. When the answer to my question no is,

what can I do? Is it necessary to use a FireWire 800 for the right connection?

PLease answer me a.s.a.p., because I'm very unhapp.
