ios 9 Album track information

So, upgraded to a new iPod recently, and installed the latest v9 release.

Although I like some aspects of the music player, one aspect that I really find annoying is the details that are provided for tracks in an album - especially for Classical albums. When I'm playing a track and view the album, now that ios 9 places a thumbnail against each track it means that there are insufficient details displayed - so, on a lot of albums it's not possible to see the important track information (e.g. aria in an opera).

On my old iPod I could at least touch and hold against a track to get the full details, but even this doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

Am I just not using it correctly ? Are there any workarounds ? ... or do I have to nag Apple to sort it out.
