Appleid issue on iPad mini

I have aN issue with my Apple ID on an iPad mini. Can't login to facetime, iTunes, I messenger anything with the appleid. Changed password and no go. Can sign in fine to the Apple ID website but any other time it just stays as verifying forever. Not sure what to try next. This is on a iPad mini with most recent software update.
