iphone 6+ screen freezing, whitebar at top of screen

My wifes iphone 6+ is doing the same thing that I see many people are having problems with. The phone is a month out of warranty and apple will not do anything for her, basically told us too bad so sorry. Well that is a bunch of ********!!! We have an Ipad, Ipad Mini, Ipod Touch, and I also have an iphone 6, and am thinking about trading all the apple products for something else if this is how the company is going to be! The phone is in MINT condition with a software problem that apple is well aware of but its my problem!! multi billion dollar company and you cant even hold up your end of the bargain with devices that should function properly. I'll be following up with consumer relations about this issue.
