my playlists disappeared

My playlists disappeared from my phone after I upgraded to iOS 9.2.1. I sync to iCloud and use Music match. The playlists are still in iTunes on my computer, but I can't sync to my computer anymore. How can I get the playlists back on my phone?

Hello Greg,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If I understand your post correctly, you use iCloud Music Library to manage your music, however you're not seeing playlists that are on your Mac. To get started, I'd like you to please follow through the steps outlined below.

If your iTunes Match library is missing, restart your iOS device.

If you still can't see it after the restart:

  1. Turn off iCloud Music Library and then turn it back on.
    1. Go to Settings > Music.
    2. Turn off iCloud Music Library.
    3. Close Settings.
    4. Go to Settings > Music.
    5. Turn on iCloud Music Library.
  2. Sign out of iTunes and then sign back in.
