When I try to get big band music in the iTunes store it lists mostly other things like small groups, electronic music, rock and roll and worst of all (smooth jazz) lots of it too! But little actual big band jazz??
The same thing with jazz orchestra's and jazz ensembles???

I see you're trying to find some particular music in the iTunes Store. Since there's no specific Big Band, Jazz Orchestra, or Jazz Ensemble genres to select from, you can instead search iTunes for a specific artist or group that you're looking for. Sometimes our iTunes staff will put together lists of more specific subgenera like Big Band, such as clicking on the link below will take you to a Big Band & Swing selection in the iTunes Store. Just FYI, clicking this link will force iTunes to open.
