Simple (?) monitoring question!

I have Logic X running on El Capitan -

Everything working great; have my guitar as an analog input and using Amplitube 4 as a software amp.

Problem is, I'd like to play along with my recorded and drummer tracks in Logic X (a few practice rounds before recording), but can only hear my unprocessed guitar when I'm in playback mode. Is there a way to hear the Amplitube 4 processed sound on playback without having to select "record" mode in order to hear it?

Thanks so much!

Jeff

Make sure Software Monitoring is enabled in Preferences - Audio - General

input monitor for focused track is turned off.

And make sure you turn off direct monitoring from your hardware interface.

And Auto input monitoring is turned off.

You can also add the input monitor button to the track and use that.
