Vertical Lines on iPhone Screen
My Wifes iPhone screen has two vertical lines down it and they prevent her from typing and selecting apps or using my screen fully. How can this be resolved?

Was the phone ever dropped? More than likely some sort of physical damage was done to the device wether it's visual or not. It's also likely the screen has just failed due to a technical malfunction or worse case scenario, if the device has ever gotten wet. You can try replacing the screen through Apple or another local repair shop to see if that will fix the issue with lines in the display. Repairing the device through another company will void your warranty however it will more than likely be cheaper. Check for businesses that have positive reviews and feedback and make your decision however you see fit. Keep in mind if you still have a warranty with your device and it has not been service by another repair shop previously you should take it to Apple first to see if it is covered under warranty.
