how to install Google Application Launcher APP for Chrome on my MacBook Pro

I don't find this APP in Google Extensions in Chrome on my MacBook Pro.

My AA has it on her PC laptop.

I see on Web searches that this can perhaps be added to my dock.

How do I find this APP for my Mac and get it installed?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

I see where such a thing was announced a few years ago, but given how Google products tend to come and go, I don't know if it still exists, or ever made it out of beta. Your best shot is to take a look at the google play store.
