How to remove junk News from News app

*** do I remove INQUISITR from my news app?

It's not listed anywhere under my favorites.

There's no listing under settings>news>...

It's not real news.

It's sensationalized fear tactic con artistry.

It makes Apple look like junk in every story they release so I'm not sure why Apple would FORCE us to have it.

They fact check nothing.

*** don't you give me The Onion instead if you're just going to ***** with me Apple?

If you're asking how to remove news you don't really care for the most you can do is mute a channel. But if you're asking how to remove a preinstalled app, since when has apple ever provided this option to remove a preinstalled app other then optional ones? So Johnny it's like deleting Game Center. You just, can't.

To mute a channel on iPhone 6s use 3D touch and hold on it for a couple of seconds and then the summary should come up. Swipe the summary up and there should be a Mute Channel button. Please rate if you think this help

I agree! This "channel" should NOT be included in a "news" channel. I'm a long-time journalist and would never call the Inquisitir "news."
