Is the Logic Pro X Creating Alias Folder Function Not Working??

When I hold down option shift and drag a packed folder with 2 audio files , it's indicating it's making an Alias but when I edit the original (parent) it does not change the child (the alias)?

Like fade, or add new loop to that folder. There is no Docs on this for Logic Pro 10 (X)

Is this a bug?
