I am setting up my iPad Mini and it will not verify my Apple ID, the details are correct as I have been able to log into Apple Support, someone help please I am losing the will to live!

Explain in detail exactly what "it will not verify my Apple ID" means.
When I sign in through settings, it loads for a while and then a pop up appears saying "Verification Failed - There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server"
Try this first. Go to Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure the the time zone setting is correct as well.

Try resetting the network settings, you can do this by going into Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.
