Does the volume uuid change if I restore my Macbook back to factory?

I'm trying to determine if the Volume UUID changes based on restoring the Macbook back to the factory image. Based on my research of the processes involved, it will. However, I need to know if anyone has seen this specifically on a Macbook. If anyone knows the answer it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
