Cannot update anything on iPad Air

My iPad Air was working perfectly before, but one day, nothing could update anymore. I couldn't update my software, couldn't update apps, and I when I tried to connect my iPad to my computers iTunes, I couldn't see the iPad symbol in the top-left corner. Somebody Plse Help

First, reset the iPad by holding the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.


If you can then connect to iTunes, do so and consider restoring your iPad. See "iTunes" here for restore instructions:

If you cannot restore, then you must place your iPad in Recovery mode. This may take several attempts to succeed:
